At IMB Bank, our Information Technology team are integral in helping innovate and build a market leading future of banking experience and capabilities. We are looking for a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team to support our existing cloud, networks and infrastructure, and further shape the delivery of infrastructure systems and services to meet both business and customer needs.

Reporting to the Technical Lead Cloud and Infrastructure Engineers, the key responsibilities and experience requirements of the role include:

• Working in collaboration with all stakeholders, Business, IT Enterprise Architecture and IT Solution Design, IT & Business Projects, IT Security, IT Service Desk and IT Development teams, to deliver and drive hybrid cloud and infrastructure development, automation, migration through DevOps practices to meet business and Information Technology needs
• Maintaining hybrid cloud and infrastructure development and lifecycle standards and patterns supported by quality assurance processes in line with business needs and IMB security and information management requirements
• Delivery of projects and changes, and the support of production and non-production environments
• Providing support and resolution to incidents and service requests 
• Hold a degree qualification in IT
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate, knowledge share, influence others and write documents such as presentations and solution designs
• Desirable to have at least 2 years of experience in Cloud engineering using Infra-as-code preferably terraform, configuration management and continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as GIT
• Current familiarity and experience with core provider services from Azure cloud platform; professional level certifications desired
• An understanding of distributed system design, network architecture and dependency management
• Participating in a rotating after hours callout roster to provide timely support and service to a 24/7 retail bank.
